Workshop - Using the 5S Tool to Organize the School Workplace
Act as a resource person to deliver a workshop on the title "Using the 5S Tool to Organize the School Workplace" on 31st October 2021 from 4pm to 6.30pm, via Zoom.
A total of 78 School Teachers participated in this workshop and obtained the knowledge and skills to implement the 5S system in their schools to maintain well-organized, visual workplaces. This helps to organized the learning environment, so that the children become more independent and teachers can spend time concentrating on students instead of wasting it trying to find teaching materials.
Workshop - Training for Students for Online Examination
Act as a resource person for a workshop on the title "Training for Students for Online Examination", on 5th October 2021 from 10am to 11.30am. A total of 300 Faculty of Business Studies students from second and the third years participated, via online. This workshop was organised by the Faculty of Business Studies, University of Vavuniya, Sri Lanka.
Workshop - Conducting Online Examinations
I conducted a workshop on the title "Conducting Online Examinations", on 29th of September 2021 from 10.30am to 1.30am. A total of 34 staff from the Faculty of Business Studies and Examination Bracch of the University of Vavuniya participated, via online. This workshop was organised by the Faculty of Business Studies, University of Vavuniya, Sri Lanka.
Sri Lankan UGC's Graduate Training Programme - 2020
Act as a resource person to deliver a training on "Digital Tools" on 30th September 2020, in both Mannar and Vavuniya.
Workshop - Social Media for Social Change
Conducted workshop on Social Media for Social Change for Divisional Youth Camp 2019, in Vavuniya, Sri Lanka, on 20th October 2019.
This camp was organised by the Divisional Federation of Youth Clubs, National Youth Service Council Vavuniya. A total of 40 numbers of youths were benefited.
Distant Learning Education Project
Act as a consultant as well as the coordinator for the Distant Learning Education Project to implement the Learn TV program at a school, Jayanthi Maha Vidyalaya in PadviiSripura, Sri Lanka. The project was launched successfully on the 27th November 2019 at 2.00 pm.
Exhibition in Marketing Management
As an academic coordinator for the Honours in Marketing Management, I initiated and conducted an exhibition on "Marketing Principles and E-Commerce" in the Faculty of Business Studies, Vavuniya Campus on 13th February 2019.
Sports Activities
Battle of Brothers - An annual Big Match - 2018
In my role as the chairperson of the Sports Advisory board of the Vavuniya Campus of the University of Jaffna, I have initiated an annual Cricket Big Match between faculties. It is a 50 – 50 over, Hard Ball, and soft ball match for Boys and girls, respectively. The aim of this event is to enhance sports skills and social harmony among students.
The 1st match was conducted on 5th August 2018. it is a 50 - 50 Hard Ball Boys Cricket Match, between Faculty of Business Studies and Faculty of Applied Science. The 2nd match was conducted on 20th April 2019.
Friendly Girls Cricket Match
First Girls Cricket was formed in the Vavuniya Campus, in my period, as a Chairperson of the Sports Advisory Board.
A 10 -10 overs Cricket match was organised to promote Girls cricket in the Vavuniya Region. Vavuniya Campus's Girls Cricket team and V/Puthukulam Maha Vidyalayam, Sasthrikoolankulam, Vavuniya played on 12th February 2020, at playground of V/Puthukulam Maha Vidyalayam.
The event was a great success, because both teams shared their knowledge and skill in Cricket.
