Community Engagement

Act as a resource person to deliver a workshop on the title "Using the 5S Tool to Organize the School Workplace" on October 31, 2021, from 4 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. via Zoom. This event was organized by the Kn/ Thiruvaiyaru Maha Vidyalayam in Kilinochchi, Sri Lanka. A total of 78 School Teachers participated and obtained the knowledge and skills to implement the 5S system in their schools.

As a Coordinator/ IT Centre of the University of Vavuniya, I initiated Public Talks in emerging IT topics, via online, to disseminate the knowledge to society, during the Covid-19 Pandemic period. A total number of 12 Public Talks, listed in http://www.vau.jfn.ac.lk/itc/?page_id=2010, has been delivered.

As an academic coordinator for the Honours in Marketing Management, I initiated and conducted an exhibition on "Marketing Principles and E-Commerce" in the Faculty of Business Studies, Vavuniya Campus of the University of Jaffna, on February 13, 2019.
