Resource Person for Workshop on Gamification - Workshop on 2D/3D Virtual Navigation and Tourism Promotion through Gamification These two-day workshops have been organized by Skills for Inclusive Growth and were held on May 11 and 19, 2022. I have presented the background of 2D/3D Virtual Navigation and Tourism Gamification.
Workshop - Using the 5S Tool to Organize the School Workplace:
Act as a resource person to deliver a workshop on the title "Using the 5S Tool to Organize the School Workplace" on October 31, 2021, from 4 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. via Zoom. This event was organized by the Kn/ Thiruvaiyaru Maha Vidyalayam in Kilinochchi, Sri Lanka. A total of 78 School Teachers participated and obtained the knowledge and skills to implement the 5S system in their schools.
Workshop: Training for Students for the Online Examination. I act as a resource person for a workshop on the title "Training for Students for Online Examination", on October 5, 2021, from 10 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. A total of 300 Faculty of Business Studies students from second and third years participated online. This workshop was organized by the Faculty of Business Studies, University of Vavuniya, Sri Lanka.
Workshop: Conducting Online Examinations. I conducted a workshop on the title "Conducting Online Examinations", on September 29, 2021, from 10.30 a.m. to 1.30 a.m. A total of 34 staff members from the Faculty of Business Studies and Examination Branch of the University of Vavuniya participated online. This workshop was organized by the Faculty of Business Studies, University of Vavuniya, Sri Lanka.
Sri Lankan UGC's Graduate Training Programme 2020: Act as a resource person to deliver a training on "Digital Tools" on September 30, 2020, in both Mannar and Vavuniya.
Workshop: - Social Media for Social Change conducted a workshop on social media for Social Change for Divisional Youth Camp 2019, in Vavuniya, Sri Lanka, on October 20th, 2019. This camp was organized by the Divisional Federation of Youth Clubs, National Youth Service Council Vavuniya. A total of 40 youths were benefited.
Public Talks in IT topics
As a Coordinator/ IT Centre of the University of Vavuniya, I initiated Public Talks in emerging IT topics, via online, to disseminate the knowledge to society, during the Covid-19 Pandemic period. A total number of 12 Public Talks, listed in http://www.vau.jfn.ac.lk/itc/?page_id=2010, has been delivered.
Distant Learning Education Project. As a consultant as well as the coordinator for the Distant Learning Education Project to implement the Learn TV program at a school, Jayanthi Maha Vidyalaya in Padvii-Sripura, Sri Lanka. The project was launched successfully on November 27, 2019 at 2 p.m.
Exhibition on Marketing Principles and E-Commerce
As an academic coordinator for the Honours in Marketing Management, I initiated and conducted an exhibition on "Marketing Principles and E-Commerce" in the Faculty of Business Studies, Vavuniya Campus of the University of Jaffna, on February 13, 2019.
Battle of Brothers - An annual Cricket Big Match – 2018 and 2019. In my role as the chairperson of the Sports Advisory board of the Vavuniya Campus of the University of Jaffna, I have initiated an annual Cricket Big Match between faculties. It is a 50 – 50 over, Hard Ball, and soft. ball match for Boys and girls, respectively. The aim of this event is to enhance sports skills and social harmony among students. The 1st match was conducted on 5th August 2018. it is a 50 - 50 Hard Ball Boys Cricket Match, between Faculty of Business Studies and Faculty of Applied Science. The 2nd match was conducted on 20th April 2019. This event was enhanced the skill and harmony among the university community.
