My research work published in Journal of the Association for Information Science and Technology - an A* Journal listed in ABDC Journal Quality List - is among the top cited paper and generated immediate impact in the research community.

Research paper presentation in ACIS2021 Conference

Presented a research paper titled - Usability Perceptions of Culturally Adapted Web Pages, in the 32nd  Australasian Conference on Information Systems (ACIS2021), Sydney, Australia, from December 8 to 10,  2022. 

This paper was presented on the Day 3 of the conference, on 10 December 2021, in the Track 9: Usability, Usability Thinking, and Human Centred Design in Contemporary Organisations. 

ACIS is the premier Information Systems conference within Australia and New Zealand, targeting Information Systems academics and researchers. It covers technical, organisational, business and social issues in the application of Information Technology to real world problems. ACIS provides a platform for panel discussions and the presentation of peer-reviewed information systems research papers. 




Sri Lankan UGC's Graduate Training Programme - 2020

Act as a resource person to deliver a training on "Digital Tools" on 30th September 2020, in both Mannar and Vavuniya.

About me

I work as  a Senior Lecturer in Information Technologyin the Department of Management and Entrepreneurship, Faculty of Business Studies of the University of Vavuniya, from July 2019. Further, I worked as Information Technology, from 2011 to 2019, and Instructor in Computer Technology, from 2005 to 2011, attached to the above entity . 

I also work as an Instructor in Computer Technology in the Computer Unit of the University of Jaffna from 2004 to 2005. 

My academic carrier started as a Tutor in Computing, in the Department of Computing and Information Systems, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, from January to August, 2004.
